Mozambique is ready for the next stage of qualification for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), having been placed in 'Pot 2' for the qualifying draw. The draw, which will determine the groups for qualification, will take place on July 4th at 2:30 PM (Mozambique time) at the SuperSport studios in South Africa.<\/p>\n
The composition of the pots reflects the recent rankings and performances of African national teams. Mozambique joins other strong teams in Pot 2, such as Cape Verde, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Zambia, Benin, Uganda, Namibia, and Madagascar.<\/p>\n
48 participating nations will be drawn and divided into 12 groups of four teams each. Only 23 teams will qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, joining Morocco, which has already qualified as the host country.<\/p>\n
