On April 27th, one of the most anticipated sports programs of the year in Mozambique began: the Jr. NBA. Organized by ExxonMobil in partnership with the Clarisse Machanguana Foundation, the Jr. NBA is more than just a sports tournament. It incorporates a wide range of activities that include science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), along with basketball. This holistic approach aims not only to develop physical and technical skills but also to cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork among the young participants.<\/p>\n
With the participation of 30 schools from across the country, the Jr. NBA offers a unique platform for young Mozambican basketball talents to showcase their potential while also engaging in educational and personal development activities.
