Born on March 5, 1985, in the vibrant city of Maputo, Nelson is much more than just a singer and songwriter \u2013 he is a true representative of Mozambique's rich cultural and musical heritage.<\/p>\n
From childhood, music has always been a part of Nelson's life. His first chords were played in the Old Apostolic Church, where he began composing music for local choral groups. His talent and passion for music were noticed in 2009 when he participated in the renowned music competition "Fama Show" and received praise that encouraged him to take his musical career more seriously.<\/p>\n
As a member of the Afro Madjaha group, Nelson contributed to the success of several acclaimed songs, such as \u201cXingomana\u201d and \u201cAnita\u201d. His inspiration comes from the Mozambican people and their daily experiences, reflected in his compositions that resonate with audiences both locally and internationally.<\/p>\n
But Nelson's talent isn't limited to just the stage \u2013 he's a talented composer who has had the opportunity to work with some of Mozambique's most renowned artists and beyond, such as Lizha James, Mr. Bow, and Neyma. His compositions, like "Tsova," "Nakufeva," and "One More Chance," have become hits that resonate in the hearts of fans across the country.<\/p>\n
Currently, Nelson Tivane is one of the vocalists for Yaba Buluku Boyz, a group that is making its mark on the music scene with hits like \u201cYaba Buluku\u201d and \u201cwa kula zakaria\u201d. And now, they are preparing to release their first album, titled \u201cDonsa\u201d, scheduled for April of this year.<\/p>\n
